2. Eligibility & Intended Use

Service Pilot is intended for business use only.

Our services are designed for:

  • HVAC contractors

  • Electrical contractors

  • Roofing businesses

  • Garage door companies

  • Cleaning businesses

  • Other home service providers

    You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use our services.

3a. Description of Services

Service Pilot provides automated communication and lead response services intended to help businesses improve responsiveness to inbound customer inquiries.

Our services may include:

Missed-call text back automation

Automated SMS follow-up communications

Voicemail capture

AI-generated call summaries

Lead response workflows

CRM-based communication automation

Appointment-related communication support

When a customer contacts a participating business and a call is missed, Service Pilot may send automated SMS messages on behalf of that business to assist with communication and scheduling.

Service Pilot may use third-party providers to facilitate service delivery.

3b. SMS Program Description

Service Pilot provides communication and revenue recovery services for home service businesses.

By opting in, you may receive SMS messages related to:

  • Demo requests

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Appointment confirmations

  • Business inquiries

  • Customer support

  • Service-related notifications

  • Follow-up communications regarding Service Pilot services

Messages are intended to provide timely and relevant communication related to your interactions with Service Pilot.

4. No Guaranteed Results

Service Pilot is designed to help businesses improve communication efficiency and lead responsiveness.

However, we do not guarantee any specific results, including but not limited to:

Increased revenue

Increased booked appointments

Lead conversions

Business growth

Customer retention

Return on investment (ROI)

Business outcomes depend on many factors outside of our control, including:

customer behavior

market conditions

staffing responsiveness

service quality

missed call volume

sales performance

third-party system availability

Use of Service Pilot is at your own business risk.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

provide accurate business information

maintain lawful use of the services

comply with all applicable laws and regulations

ensure communications are appropriate and lawful

You are solely responsible for:

your customer interactions

responding to leads

booking appointments

business operations

decisions made using Service Pilot outputs

Service Pilot is not responsible for missed opportunities caused by delayed responses, staffing issues, operational failures, or customer decisions.

6A. SMS Communications

Service Pilot facilitates transactional SMS communications on behalf of participating businesses to assist with customer inquiries, appointment scheduling, and other service-related communications.

Businesses acknowledge that:

  • SMS communications are intended only to facilitate conversations with customers who have initiated contact with the business or otherwise provided any legally required consent.

  • Businesses are responsible for complying with applicable messaging laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable regulations.

  • Service Pilot may suspend or terminate accounts that use the Service for unsolicited marketing, spam, purchased contact lists, or other prohibited messaging activities.

6. SMS Messaging Terms

SMS Communications to Business Users

Service Pilot may send SMS messages directly to business owners, account holders, and authorized users regarding:

  • Account registration

  • Account verification

  • Onboarding communications

  • Customer support

  • Platform updates

  • Service notifications

  • Operational alerts

  • Billing-related communications

Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP where applicable.

Reply HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing any Service Pilot product or service.


SMS Communications to Homeowners and Consumers

Service Pilot facilitates missed-call follow-up communications on behalf of participating home service businesses.

A homeowner or consumer may receive an initial SMS message from Service Pilot when:

  • They place a phone call to a participating home service business;

  • The call is missed, unanswered, or otherwise not connected to a representative of the business; and

  • The communication is directly related to the customer's recent call and service inquiry.

The initial message will identify the participating business and explain that the message is being sent from a Service Pilot-managed phone number on the business's behalf.

The customer may be asked to confirm that they would like assistance regarding the reason for their call by replying with a response such as "YES."

By replying affirmatively, the customer authorizes further SMS communications related to their service inquiry.

Following the customer's affirmative response, Service Pilot may facilitate communications on behalf of the participating business regarding:

  • Missed-call follow-up

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Appointment confirmations

  • Service-related information

  • Estimate coordination

  • Booking coordination

  • Customer support related to the original inquiry

Service Pilot does not send marketing campaigns, promotional offers, or unsolicited advertising messages to consumers.

Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Recipients may request assistance by replying HELP.

Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchase.


SMS Consent and Expectations

Service Pilot is committed to transparent and consent-based communications.

Messages facilitated through the Service Pilot platform will:

  • Clearly identify the participating business on whose behalf the communication is being sent;

  • Explain when a message is being sent from a Service Pilot-managed phone number rather than the number originally called;

  • Relate directly to the customer's recent missed call and service inquiry;

  • Request confirmation from the customer before continuing the conversation when applicable;

  • Include opt-out instructions where required; and

  • Remain limited to transactional, informational, and customer-service-related communications.

Participating businesses are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate legal basis to communicate with their customers and for complying with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing customer communications. Service Pilot is intended to facilitate communications initiated in response to customer inquiries, including missed inbound calls, and is not intended for unsolicited promotional messaging.

7. AI Summaries & Voicemail Processing

Service Pilot may process voicemail information to generate AI-assisted summaries or operational insights.

You acknowledge that:

AI-generated summaries may contain inaccuracies

summaries are for convenience only

Service Pilot does not guarantee accuracy or completeness

Businesses should independently verify important information.

Service Pilot is not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated summaries.

8. Third-Party Providers

Service Pilot relies on third-party technologies and vendors, which may include:

GoHighLevel (GHL) for CRM and automation

Twilio for telephony and SMS delivery

Make (Make.com) for workflow automation

We do not control these services and cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Service interruptions, delays, or failures may occur due to:

telecom outages

API failures

software downtime

vendor disruptions

internet connectivity issues

Service Pilot shall not be liable for disruptions caused by third-party providers.

9. Fees, Billing & Subscription Terms

Service Pilot may charge:

one-time setup fees

recurring monthly subscription fees

By subscribing, you authorize Service Pilot to charge the payment method provided.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

subscription fees are billed in advance

fees are non-refundable

partial month refunds are not guaranteed

Failure to pay may result in:

account suspension

service interruption

termination

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, software, workflows, systems, graphics, and materials provided by Service Pilot are owned by Service Pilot or its licensors.

You may not:

copy

reverse engineer

resell

reproduce

modify

our proprietary systems without written permission.

11. Website Use Restrictions

You agree not to:

misuse the website

interfere with service functionality

attempt unauthorized access

distribute malicious software

scrape or harvest data

Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Service Pilot shall not be liable for:

lost profits

lost leads

missed appointments

lost business opportunities

revenue loss

indirect damages

incidental damages

telecom failures

SMS delivery issues

inaccurate AI summaries

third-party outages

Service Pilot’s total liability under these Terms shall not exceed:

the amount paid to Service Pilot during the prior three (3) months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Service Pilot from claims arising out of:

your misuse of services

unlawful messaging

TCPA violations

consent disputes

legal claims from customers

violations of applicable law

14. Termination

Service Pilot may suspend or terminate access at any time for:

nonpayment

suspected fraud

compliance violations

unlawful activity

misuse of services

You may discontinue use at any time.

Outstanding fees remain payable.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

Service Pilot services are provided:

“AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”

We make no warranties regarding:

uninterrupted service

reliability

performance

business outcomes

revenue improvements

We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States and the applicable state in which Service Pilot operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
